Institute of Photonics and Electronics of the CAS announces an open competition in accordance with the Act No. 283/1992 Coll. on the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Statutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences for a position Postdoctoral Research Fellow in High-Power CW and Pulse Fibre Lasers.
We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in the field of development of high-power CW and pulse fibre lasers within the Fibre Lasers and Nonlinear Optics research team.
Job description
The selected candidate will participate in the development of high-power CW and pulse fibre lasers. The research will be focused on high-power CW and high-energy Q-switched and mode-locked ytterbium-, thulium-, and holmium-doped fibre lasers, fibre amplifiers and applications.
Requirements
- PhD degree (equivalent) in the field of fibre lasers.
- Experience with high-power/pulsed fibre lasers.
- Good command of written and spoken English.

Terms of employment
