Institute of Psychology of the CAS announces an open competition in accordance with the Act No. 283/1992 Coll. on the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Statutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences for a position Research assistant position at the Institute of Psychology, Czech Academy of Sciences.

Research assistant position at the Brno Lab of Intergroup Processes for work on the project “Research of Excellence on Digital Technologies and Wellbeing” (DigiWELL, reg. no.CZ.02.01.01/00/22_008/0004583, project duration 2024–2028).

The DigiWELL project responds to research challenges in key areas of the rapidly evolving domain of digital technologies aimed at promoting physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Within the project, the research assistant will collaborate on the work package dealing with negative aspects of ICT (informational and communication technologies) and their impact on wellbeing.

  • Amount of working time: 0,5
  • Place of work: Brno
  • Employment contract: from September 2024 to December 2025 with the possibility of extension for the duration of the project.

Requirements:

  • MA in psychology and interest in pursuing PhD in psychology.
  • Interest in research on the impact of information and communication technologies on well-being.
  • Interest/experience in experimental methodology.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
  • Curious, motivated, hard-working, team-spirited researcher.
