J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry of the CAS announces an open competition in accordance with the Act No. 283/1992 Coll. on the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Statutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences for a position Research assistant in the field of Development of nanostructured catalysts.

A leading research institute in Prague, Czechia, named after Nobel laureate in Chemistry, J. Heyrovsky, is seeking a Research assistant in the field of Development of nanostructured catalysts.

 

Type of contract: Temporary (1 year with the possibility of extending the employment contract)

Job status: Full-time

Job description: 

We are seeking a candidate to join projects focused on:

i) developing procedures for the preparation of nanostructured materials for catalyst development,

ii) performing structural analyses of nanomaterials using advanced analytical methods, and

iii) conducting catalytic tests for heterogeneously catalysed reactions.

The position is strongly oriented towards achieving results applicable to industrial catalyst production.

 

Required Qualifications:

- Master degree: Inorganic Technology

- Analysis of thermo-physical properties of inorganic materials

- Strong communication skills in both Czech and English are a requirement.

- Ability to work efficiently both as part of a team and independently
