Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the CAS announces an open competition in accordance with the Act No. 283/1992 Coll. on the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Statutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences for a position Research and development specialist - Laboratory of Material Analysis II.

Requirements:

• University degree in chemistry/material science (alternatively, a higher vocational school or secondary school degree)
• Independence, precision, responsibility, reliability, communication skills, integrity
• Experience in a chemical/materials laboratory is an advantage
• Knowledge of English is an advantage

Job description:

• Work in the laboratory of material analysis (e.g., sample preparation, instrumental analyses)
• Management of relevant laboratory equipment
• Cooperation within a multidisciplinary laboratory team
• Participation in research topics
• Evaluation and presentation of acquired data
