EASAC call for nomination of peer reviewer - Changing Wildfires report

EASAC has published a call for nominations of peer reviewer for a new report of the working group Wildfires in Europe - the topic "Changing Wildfires".
Required expertise in one of the following areas:
- Fire ecology, effects of fires in both forest and other types of habitats
- Climate science, projections of drought and fire risk in different parts of Europe
- Soil ecology, effects of fires on soil carbon dynamics
- Restoration ecology, principles of post‐fire restoration, design principles for tree planting in fire prone areas
- Health science, respiratory health aspects of wildfires
- Economist, estimates of loss and damage
- Social science, Political science, European institutional response mechanisms
- Policy analyses
For more information about the call and the required nomination documents (CV, Letter of recommendation from the Director of the Institute), please contact the Secretariat of your Institute. The internal deadline for nominations is 14 June 2024.
