MIT-Czech Republic IOCB Tech Foundation Seed Fund – call 2024 and online information session

In view of the upcoming call for proposals in 2024 within the MIT-Czech Republic IOCB Tech Foundation Seed Fund, ann online information session is held for those interested in collaborating with MIT and receiving support from the Fund. The information session is hosted by MIT and takes place on 31 July 2024 at 16:00 CET (10:00 EDT). Please use this link for registration.
The preliminary period for submitting joint project propsals under this collaboration is 10 September to 10 December 2024. All information incl. the call will be posted on the MIT website after 1 August 2024. The call will be open to all scientific disciplines.
The program that was created in 2021 is a collaboration between MIT, the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the CAS, and its subsidiary IOCB Tech. It is now funded by the IOCB Tech Foundation, which contributes $100,000 per year to the program. The fund supports 3 to 5 new collaborations each year between scientists from CAS research institutes and universities in the Czech Republic and MIT partners, up to $25,000, with funding available to cover travel and accommodation costs associated with working meetings and research internships. Successful applicants will be decided by April of the following year and the first trips will be available in June 2025.
