Call for IAP Competitive Grants

The international organization InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) announces a grant call for a one-year project.
Grant proposals must be focused on expected contributions to "policy-for-science" or "science-for-policy" and must be based on collaboration between member academies or with other institutions. Project proposals for lab-bench or field research will not be considered for funding. Projects must align with the current IAP strategic plan - IAP Strategic Plan 2024-2026.
Grants will run for up to 12 months starting in February/March 2025. This cycle offers up to $200,000 in total, with one award receiving up to $50,000 and additional grants of up to $20,000 each. All budget requests must be justified.

The Czech Academy of Sciences (the CAS)
The mission of the CAS
The primary mission of the CAS is to conduct research in a broad spectrum of natural, technical and social sciences as well as humanities. This research aims to advance progress of scientific knowledge at the international level, considering, however, the specific needs of the Czech society and the national culture.
President of the CAS
Prof. Eva Zažímalová has started her second term of office in May 2021. She is a respected scientist, and a Professor of Plant Anatomy and Physiology.
She is also a part of GCSA of the EU.
