IAP call for experts – research guide „Access!“
16. 09. 2024
IAP is continuing its collaboration with the Smithsonian Science Education Center (SSEC) on a series of research guides for teachers based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - see examples here: https://www.interacademies.org/education/teaching-resources
Now, SSEC has requested IAP to help identify experts to develop the 'Access!' guide, which aims to explore accessibility to essential systems such as food, housing, transportation, education and healthcare.
This guide will be designed to help youth learn about access issues from a social science perspective and to propose innovative STEM solutions. There are 15 categories/fields in which we are seeking experts – see the form below.
The expert group will meet virtually - probably from the beginning of October. The manual may take 6-8 months to complete.
Please submit your nomination using the form below by 23 September (information about your nomination send also to e-mail address: samalova@kav.cas.cz).
