Already established CAS coordinators will then select the candidates to be nominated for the prizes on behalf of the CAS based on the submitted documents. According to the rules (see individual conditions) the coordinators will nominate given number of the best candidates.

These candidates will then present their research in front of selection committees during May and June (exact dates can be found in the respective prize conditions).

The winners will be officially announced on 26th June 2025. Awarded candidates will receive financial support and, for the first two places, also a scholarship in France (may differ depending on the prize). The Prize ceremony should also be attended by the supervisors of the nominated candidates' dissertations and representatives of the relevant CAS institutes.

Further information is available on the website of the French Institute.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the Albert Schweitzer Prize in medicine is only open for applicants working in a hospital or in a related healthcare institution with routine medical or paramedical activity.
